My Realization of Zingarelli’s Libro Primo, Partimento No 1

Partimenti

Here is my completed realization of Zingerelli’s first partimento.

I kept this realization really simple, but it’s still tuneful and develops the opening idea. You’ll notice a couple things:

  • that I’ve only used intervals above the bass that are given in the figures (plus the 8v).
  • I used a ♩♩♩. 𝅘𝅥𝅮 rhythm for most of the realization. Approaching the first cadence and at the final cadence I flatten out the rhy♩♩♩♩, at the sequence I do the opposite and use ♩. 𝅘𝅥𝅮tasto solo I just use a whole note and let the bass take over the ‘interest’ for a bar
